I wanted to create an atmosphere that felt like a fine dining experience or something you’d expect in a 5-star restaurant. One day, while browsing Pinterest for inspiration, I noticed microgreens being used everywhere – in plating, garnishing, and creating that perfect touch. That’s when the idea struck me – why not bring that same elegance into my home and share it with others?
However, when I searched for a brand that could provide high-quality microgreens, I was disappointed. The only options I found were from gardening vendors whose microgreens didn’t even have a 50% germination rate. That moment was a turning point for me, and I decided to take matters into my own hands. I wanted to create a brand that could deliver the best microgreens, ones that would make a real difference in every dish.
That’s when Baghsheen was born. I dedicated myself to testing over 200 seeds to find the very best. We experimented with different growing mediums and conditions, rigorously testing for four months to ensure we were offering the finest microgreens. Once we were confident in our product, we launched our starter kit, and it was an instant hit. People loved the concept, the quality, and the idea of growing their own food at home. The farm-to-plate movement quickly gained momentum, and it was incredibly rewarding to see so many people embracing it.
